Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how ToolFlux ("we", "us", or "our"), available at luluboy168.com, handles information when you use our website and tools (the "Service"). The short version: the tools process your files entirely inside your own browser, so your files are never uploaded to us. The longer version, including how advertising and cookies work, is below.
1. Our core privacy principle: your files never leave your device
Every tool on ToolFlux — image compression and conversion, HEIC conversion, PDF merging, image-to-PDF, QR code generation, the word counter, the password generator, and the case converter — runs entirely in your web browser using client-side technologies (JavaScript, the Canvas API, WebAssembly, and Web Workers). When you select a file, it is read and processed locally on your own device. We do not upload, receive, copy, store, or have any access to the files you process. When you close or refresh the page, any data the tool was working with is discarded from memory.
2. Information we do not collect
We do not:
- require you to create an account or provide your name;
- upload, store, or transmit the files or text you process with our tools;
- sell or rent personal information to anyone;
- build advertising profiles ourselves from the content you process.
3. Information that is collected automatically
Like virtually all websites, our hosting infrastructure and our third-party service providers may automatically receive standard technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system, referring page, and the date and time of your request. This information is used to deliver the website reliably, maintain security, and understand aggregate traffic. We also use cookies and similar technologies as described below, primarily through our advertising partner.
4. Cookies and local storage
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your browser. We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies (such as your browser's local storage) for purposes including:
- Functional storage: remembering your preferences (for example, a tool setting or your cookie-consent choice) so the site works smoothly. This data stays in your browser.
- Advertising: our advertising partner, Google, uses cookies to serve and measure ads, as described in the next section.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can manage advertising cookies through the consent and opt-out options described below. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site function.
5. Advertising, Google AdSense, and third-party vendors
ToolFlux is supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense, an advertising service provided by Google LLC, to display ads. To do this, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies — including the DoubleClick DART cookie — enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to ToolFlux and/or other sites on the Internet.
- These vendors may collect information such as your IP address, device identifiers, browser information, and your interactions with ads in order to measure performance and reduce fraud.
Google and other third-party advertising vendors are independent controllers of the data they collect through these cookies. We encourage you to review Google's "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services" page and the Google Privacy Policy to understand their practices.
6. Your choices about personalised advertising
You can control the ads you see and limit personalisation:
- Opt out of personalised advertising from Google by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- Opt out of personalised advertising from many participating vendors at www.aboutads.info (and, in Europe, www.youronlinechoices.eu).
- Manage cookies directly in your browser settings, where you can block or delete them.
If you opt out of personalised ads, you may still see ads, but they will be less relevant to you.
7. Consent for visitors in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we use a Google-certified Consent Management Platform (CMP) to ask for your consent before non-essential cookies (including advertising cookies) are used, in line with the GDPR, the UK GDPR, and the ePrivacy rules. You may grant or refuse consent and can change your choice at any time through the consent options provided on the site. Where we rely on consent, you have the right to withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
Depending on your location, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing or lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Because we do not maintain user accounts or store the files you process, most such requests will relate to data held by our advertising partner; you can exercise many of those choices directly via the opt-out links above, or contact us and we will assist where we are able.
8. Analytics
We aim to keep tracking to a minimum. If we use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to understand aggregate, non-identifying usage (such as which tools are most popular), it is configured to collect only aggregate statistics and not to identify individual visitors. If our analytics practices change in a way that affects your privacy, we will update this policy accordingly.
9. Children's privacy
ToolFlux is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to address it.
10. Data security and retention
Because the files you process never leave your device, there is no file data for us to secure or retain. For the limited technical data handled by our hosting and advertising providers, those providers maintain their own security measures and retention practices. The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection.
11. Links to other websites
Our Service and our ads may contain links to third-party websites that we do not operate. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
12. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for legal reasons. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
13. Contact us
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact us at [email protected], or via our contact page.
